Description
Ms. Shah currently litigates matters in state and federal courts involving various insurance coverage matters, including construction defect, class actions, personal injury, and wrongful death.
Ms. Shah’s litigation experience includes practice in the areas of criminal, employment, contracts, and insurance law. After law school, Ms. Shah worked as counsel for the California State Controller’s Office and in other government positions. Ms. Shah served as a Deputy District Attorney with the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office where she tried 20 cases to jury verdict. Ms. Shah also conducted fraud investigations in first-party insurance coverage cases.
Ms. Shah was born in Waukegan, Illinois. She received her undergraduate degree at the University of California, Los Angeles, and her law degree, with distinction, from University of the Pacific’s McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento. Ms. Shah joined Bolender & Associates in 2005.
